Dulquer Salmaan, the younger son of actor Mammootty and Sulfath, was born on July 28, 1986. He attended primary school in Kerala before enrolling at Sishya School in Chennai. He earned his bachelor's degree from Purdue University in the United States. On December 22, 2011, he married Chennai-based architect Amal Sufiya. On May 5, 2017, Dulquer Salmaan and Amaal Sufiya welcomed their first child. He's also been involved in a number of community service projects. As part of the Kerala motor vehicle department's safe riding program, he starred in a short film. As part of the Chennai Gives program, he gave 150 things, including apparel, shoes, books, school supplies, and tableware. In addition, he is the founder of a car-trading website and dental practice in Chennai. He is also the director of the Motherhood Hospital in Bangalore.
